Ruta de las Minas Abandonadas
History and landscape in wild territory.

A journey back in time through a wild and unpopulated territory where you can get lost and disconnect on your mountain bike. A wild and varied route through the forgotten and spectacular Eastern Mountains of León. We will discover railway stories, old abandoned mines of a glorious past. Roman roads and archaeological sites from the Iron Age and ancient Cantabrian tribes.
A hidden and almost unknown territory, to find the great natural treasure it holds. Large forests of beech and oak trees, a refuge for wild fauna, which roam freely and where human presence is really negligible.
